Code of Conduct
Alandulus American Diploma ensures a safe and orderly atmosphere to materialize effective teaching and learning. All students are expected to comply with the school rules.
Students are expected to:
• Attend school regularly and on time.
• Follow rules and directions.
• Do schoolwork and homework neatly and completely.
• Practice positive behavior choices.
• Remain on school grounds unless permission to leave the school is granted.
• Dressing in a way that is appropriate for the learning environment.
• Follow school rules and school staff directions.
• Come to school prepared to work.
• Participate in class activities and discussions.
• Complete schoolwork and homework.
• Be understating of other’s feelings.
• Refrain from bullying or threatening others.
• Be honest by telling the truth, and admitting to things they have done.
• Work with others in positive ways.
• Refrain from using obscene language in school.
• Work together and/or with adults to manage negative behaviors and emotions.
• Use respectful words, positive and considerate tone of voice and body language when they are speaking to others.
• Listen when others are speaking.
• Carry materials needed for each class according to teacher expectations.
• Strive for success and believe it is possible.
• Utilize a planner for organizing assignments and due dates.
• Complete and turn in assignments on the due date.
• Return as quickly as possible whenever out of class in order to maximize learning.
