Grading System for grades 1 to 3

Grading System for grades 4 to 6

The grading system is based on following weightage system 

1. Classroom Participation. (30% of total score) 

Classroom participation depends on two different assessments. 

1. Class work (15% of total score) is marked subjectively by teacher after every class. b. Homework (15% of total score) is marked for every homework given by the teacher. 
2. All the above mentioned marks are subjective with the following criteria. 
3. 5 = Excellent 
4. 4 = Very good
5. 3 = Good 
6. 2 = Average 
7. 1 = Weak 
8. 0 = Not done 
9. The data is accumulated for the quarter to be added into the final score of the quarter. 
10. Quizzes (30% of Total Score) 
11. All subjects have biweekly quizzes.
12. All quizzes are marked out of 15 

iii. Term paper/Project (15% of the total) 

Three may be  a project for certain subjects in specific quarters. 

1. Final Exam (40%/25% of the total) 
2. The final exam for the subjects in the group are 40% of total marks. However the subjects including a term paper or project have only 25% for Final Exams.

Minimum Promotion Requirement: 

The students should not fail or score below 60% in more than 2 subjects in Grade 7-8 and one subject in Grade 9-12 to be promoted to next level.
